Hi Tomick

Please can you explain what is meant by lightly sand ribs without changing their shape. I am at the point where the 3rd section is due and I suppose the preparing for the planking etc is on the way too. I have just been sanding through parts where they have been separated from the frame after the laser cutting and removing the little ridges. What am I supposed to be doing - before I start gluing the ribs to the hull. I am sorry if this question was asked in the past but 53 odd pages of forum is a lot to trawl through.

Thanks
Current build : The Victory
Pending builds : none - yet
Built loads of bikes trucks planes and boats - all plastic kits.
on wish list - a 1:24 spitfire, in wood, plastic, just as long as I can build it :)

It means sand to remove any nibs or brown ash left over from the laser cutting process, but not sand so much as to change the shape of the edge being sanded.
