Tomick, I have an issue with the bow gun port...It states in the instructions the following: The gun ports are positioned parallel to the waterline, this means that those close to the bow and stern, where the planks slope upwards, will not be exactly square to the line of the planks, the port ahead of frame 12 should be positioned with its botom corner just touching the joint between the planks.I have posted this picture of the bow gun port on my build, but, please can you tell me how I go about making it off square...I do not want to commit to cutting out the ports until I get this issue sorted out...much obliged Tomick... Have a look at the photo and info at step 5 of issue 23 which clearly shows this, as shown in the port side photo, it just a case of angling the left corner down so that the port square tilts up at the right, basically the ports at the bow won't be square to the line of the planking, but the left-hand corner align's with the bottom of the rest of the ports and the righ-hand corner will be slightly raised ro this.

Cheers Mr T..I have marked it out as per section 5 in issue 23...it was just seeing the gun port plans on page 10 of issue 23 the bow gun port there shows it level with the top of the first plank and of course, reading the instructions sort of confused things thanks again mate...
