yeah...it powers the supplied board....if you look at some of my posts on my build diary you'll see how I've integrated it all to suit how I want to finally display it http://forum.model-space...sts&t=16124&p=6
Yea, I had seen that. I have the same connectors and plan on using the supplied board in conjunction with my board. Time to do some more playing.

Colson...would you mind sharing your technique for getting the cracked leather look that you displayed on the passenger seats in post #3? Thanks! If at first you don't succeed,
maybe you should skip the chainsaw juggling...

Thanks! I got that effect from doing a darker brown wash over the light paint before it had completely dried. I wasn't expecting it to crack like it did, but it worked well. Gives it a cool look.

Tamiya acrylics. Nice! Once again proof that there are such things as happy accidents! I'm really loving your entire build by the way. I'm still debating on whether or not to do fiber optics on mine, but you've definitely got me thinking about it. If at first you don't succeed,
maybe you should skip the chainsaw juggling...

Great work, as ever. The work you have done on the interior is excellent. Tried my hold area with the frame on over the weekend and too was pleased with what you will be able to see. Well done

Look awesome Colson! Got a question... I love what you did with the cockpit corridor hallway wall lights... what kind of clearance is there between the outside of the wall tube and the upper hull? Is there enough room between the two for wiring of those lights are did you have to do something creative?

I originally had LEDs there in LED holders, but the regular LEDs did keep the upper hull from going into position. So I pulled them all and replaced them with SMD LEDs. I just glued the wires to the side of the corridor then covered it all with black electrical tape to secure them and insulate. Here were some of them attached before finishing. They are extremely small and fragile to work with.

That's what I was thinking. I was worried that the hull would be too close to the corridor that there wouldn't be much room there. That is a pretty good solution!

Well, you can see from my photos that it works quite well when lit. The other corridors I left with the standard LEDs because they fit fine. It was just the long corridor that I had to change out.

Cant wait to see the next installment. This is a masterful piece of modelling.

Lovely job of the gunner photo etch set, still waiting on mine. I just don't like the supplied gunners seats, may go down the 3D printed route. This is the fourth time I have been through this build thread and I still find bits that I think I missed on the previous times, keep up the great work Bob Regards Bob Builds in progress
