This is lovely and I'm glad this thread has been brought back as I haven't seen this beauty before.
I have one of Model Airways kits coming my way too and while it seems a bit daunting, it's also encouraging to see how well they can be put together.

Which kit do you have Michal?
I have most of them and the Dr1 is probably the hardest to build. It was not of quite the same quality as their other kits.

The Jenny is REALLY nice.I have this kit.it is an easier build than the Dr 1, but still quite a bit of work.

That figure looks really nice but I am awful at painting figures.I have a 1/72 DR and a 1/8 Dr 1 .Eventually I will have them all together for a display.

Nice build Carl

The Focker was my first "Real" model which I completed just after I retired. I must have enjoyed the build because I am now running out of space for all the other kits I have built since them and this doesn't count the WIP and the stash

This kit has been around for a while. I see there is a part completed kit on that well know on line auction site search under Hachette if you are interested

I have Hageawas 1/8 Dr 1 Gil.I have that on my list to build, but I plan to replace all of the plastic parts with metal and add details.

Just got my Curtiss JN-4D, looks to be a pretty complex build! Into the stash for now, I don't feel ready to start it yet and I have a lot on the go anyway. But will post a log when I get to building it.

Its not that bad MIchu,
building the wings goes quickly and the frame is much easier to build than the Dr1 frame.

Hello, new member here.

I'm currently building this same Fokker Dr.1 Model Expo kit and have so far completed the wings and all control surfaces. I'm just about to start assembly of the fuselage and your pictures are going to be very helpful. Thanks for posting your build. Yours is a great looking finished model.

I currently have all of Model Expo's Model airways kits in various stages of completion. So far the Fokker seems to have been the easiest of them to build.

Hey Shawn welcome to the forum. Would love to see some of your progress on this one. Maybe you could start up a build thread and post what you got done so far and the rest as you build it.

Shelby GT-500: 28% Complete
