Rail enthusiasts have been left angry ahead of the Flying Scotsman starting its tour of England and Scotland today after the National Railway Museum decided to keep its schedule secret. Officials at the museum in York are not publishing the timings of the famous locomotive’s tour in a bid to reduce the chance of people disrupting mainline services. http://www.dailymail.co....e-secret-s-popular.html

I have the Hachette Scotsman, but it is not 1/24.It is a nice kit based on the DJH models kits and quite a bit cheaper. Carl

My good old Nan used to say "There`s more than one way to skin a rabbit" and there`s more than one way to find out information. Click the link below. Scroll down to where "Sold out" is in red print. Click on the Sold out and when you scroll down that page it gives you the date and timings for that run. Unfortunately not all info available, but may give you some options to plan around if you want to see this true icon of steam. I now know when it`s coming through the east midlands (Leicester - Carlisle run) and when it passes through the station 1/2 a mile away. Here`s the link: Not so secret imformation - HeheRegards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"
