I been messing about with the barrels, I chose Old English Oak as a colour, but not sure if I like it, but here is what they look like so far.

They look awesome lonestar! From all the modifying i've done with the Victory, the barrels have to be my favourite up to now. :-)

Cheers mate, I really appreciate it! Im just a cheap ass, I try to find alternative ways of doing things, and the copper plant labels can be picked up in most garden centers or Wilkinsons like mine were, only a £1, they did the trick for me.

Spot on them mate.
Do you think the tags would be usefull to copper the bottom.(obviously cut to size)
Left untreated they should age nicely.

Good question mate!

Ummmmm not too sure to be honest, they are about 0.5mm thick, so they could work, but I think you would have to use something like contact adhesive to attach them all, but personally, I'm gonna wait to see what the magazine comes up with, I have heard copper tape being mentioned, and I feel that would be much easier to play with, especially to add the rivets with a pin wheel.

PS Thanks for the praise mate, well appreciated!!!
