Am I right in assuming there will be a lot of common parts in these two models.

Similar and different in many ways as is the case in real life, and if you have no desire to paint, then the C57 is the one to go for as it's pre-painted.

Many thanks,it's just that occasionally the small parts can be used when the originals are no longer obtainable. I appreciate that the larger and major parts will of course be different.
