I started on this one quite a long time ago and shelved it as I was well into my DBR1 and planning the Cunningham E Type - both on the forum somewhere... The shell was cast quite a while ago and was gathering dust so it's been dusted off and cleaned up. The panels are now cut out ready for all the opening bits and the body is in grey primer after a ton of wet sanding. A wood internal firewall and floor are screwed in for strength, but also for easy removal when I start the interior etc. The model is going to be number 22 - Nick Mason's GTO. Roy.

Amazing Roy, you should make this a 1/8 kit!! I would buy one! I have MFH 1/12 GTO engine./It is metal and has working pistons. You should build a 1/8 engine with working pistons too.

+1 on an 8th scale 250GTO kit, something DeAg should consider producing.

Thanks you guys. The model will have a full engine etc but I'll give the pistons a miss. I might build a stand-alone engine too to go with the car, as I did with my Aston DBR1. The car now has 3 base coats of red primer, umpteen wet sandings and a fist layer of Rosso Cina red. Lots more sanding, more paint, and polishing... Roy.

Outstanding work After seeing how your other scratch built cars have turned out I can already see this is going to be quite something when finished eagerly awaiting the next part

OK... It's changed. Now the 1964 Ecurie Francorchamps winner. A good few alterations needed, not least of which, 2 gills instead of 3, open front vents, and silver. Interior and chassis started. Also, now got some of the 3D printed engine parts... Roy.

Sorry for the slow updates... The main engine is together and I've started adding the details. Tons yet to go before I can fit the engine to the chassis. Roy.
