Like all technology, they can be used for good and for the bad. Exactly like almost anything, starting with a stick and ending with an airplane or a satellite. But it's the technology that raised our quality of life by a few orders of magnitude within just 150-200 years. My take is that all progress is good as in general it improves our life. The only sad part is that human creativity can distort anything into a tool of harm. But it's not the technology at fault.
Any images I post on my personal builds are free to be used and shared under Creative Commons Attribution license, which means you can do what you want with them, on the condition you mention I'm the author.

I agree there is a certain amount of misuse that will happen with any new tech. Media love it as its makes for easy click bait articles.

In reality nothing is ever abused as much as the media makes it out to be.

At a personal level my Skyrider has changed my life.

It has made me a lot poorer and more angry lol
