Hi Darren. Was it dropped from 150 feet from between 400 -500 yrds from the target it was changed because the outer casing of the bomb when released broke off. Ian Current builds.Hachettes build the bismark,HMS Victory, HMS Hood. Finished Builds Corel HMS Victory cross section.

I will give you that Ian, the casing crumpled at 150 feet and caused the bomb to topple over. Your question.

Many thanks Hear we go... The Battle of Beachy Head (Fr. Battle of Bévéziers) was a naval engagement fought on 10 July 1690 during the Nine Years' War. The battle was the greatest French tactical naval victory over their English and Dutch opponents during the war. The Dutch lost six ships of the line in total (sources vary), as well as three fireships, and their English allies also lost one ship of the line, whereas the French did not lose a single vessel. Although control of the English Channel temporarily fell into French hands, Admiral Tourville failed to pursue the Allied fleet with sufficient ardour, allowing it to escape to the river Thames. The French victory was spearheaded by the French ship soliel Royal The very next day a famous land battle occurred that is still celebrated by some each year, what is the name of the battle Good luck all “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
