A customer of mine has lent me a "book" - it is more of a soft cover magazine. It is called HMS Victory as in 1805. A portfolio of plans by Basil Lavis. Published in 1976 by Neptune publications. It has Sail plans, deck layout plans and plans for the various guns. This is truly a magic find. It has painting plans and everything needed. Oh and it cost 95p in the 70s
Current build : The Victory
Pending builds : none - yet
Built loads of bikes trucks planes and boats - all plastic kits.
on wish list - a 1:24 spitfire, in wood, plastic, just as long as I can build it :)

Morning Wilberforce,
Is there an ISDN number in the publication so we could do a search for it on the web or at our library. I'm certain many of us on here would be very interested in the book although there may be some copyright issues with actually PDFing it.
Thanks for the info and happy building

No - there is no ISDN number on the book. Just that it was copyright 1976, Neptune Publications/David MacGregor Plans, seems like Basil Lavis did the copying of the drawings for the book.
