History of my Model making -- Did several kits when I was young... ancient history now -- I'm 85 years old.

More Recent... built a control line model of a P-51 when I was in Korea. Sat on a shelf oil I was to leave for home... friesd tried to fly it.. made about 3 circles and crashed and peeled like a banana.

Recently built an R/C model of a Telecaster w/8 foot wingspan. 1st flight I crashed it into the side of a brick building... end of the one.

Built an R/C Teleaster with a 6 foot wingspan... decided to sell it while it was still intact. Sold it today.

In the process of building an R/C Telecaster plane with an 8 ft wingspan. Decided when I get it finished I will sell it also.

Then the other day I discovered Model-Space.com website. Was really impressed so ordered a subscription for the Harley Fat Boy, planning on when I get it finished giving it to my son who is a Harley fanatic. He just bought a new super plush Road Glide.

Today I took another plunge and ordered the full kit for the Hummer. When I get it a will start a build diary. Name will probably be OldSid's Hummer. Also will start a build diary for the Harley Fat Boy but that will be a while in the future. Can't really start building oil the 2nd month arrives. But when I get that started the name of the diary will be OldSid's Fat Boy.
