So there I am sitting at my desk assembling some tracks for my Sturmtiger, when I see out of the corner of my eye the postie struggling with a rather large box!! I open the door and he hands me the thingy and says "sign here, what is it a real one!!" lol.
So here it is, my 1:4 scale Ducati Panigale S from Pocher, to go with my Busa, my two top bikes on the planet!!
I will post some more pics later to review whats in the box, but for now, here is the box!! lol

Looking forward to seeing this one and in addition I`m glad I live far enough away from Al so as not to hear the screaming. That`s Al`s screams not his missus.

I'm happy to have a missus with a hobby that's more expensive than mine... So I never need to sneak anything. Still, sometimes I'm not sure if that's something to be so happy about ;-) lol

Mrs Nem is really cool with my hobby, so I am really lucky. She makes scented candles and also makes therapy oils for massage. Beleive me some of the oils are really expensive!!

So what do you get in the box? Well the first thing you find when you take the lid off is a 35 page instruction book on how to assemble 1055 parts into a Ducati! The book is well laid out in black and white line drawings, all the parts are numbered and divided into sub assemblies, the first being the engine.
The next thing you find once opening the inner box is a mass of red fairings, all very well packed in blisters. All of the plastic parts are on sprues, perfectly formed with not a sink mark or flash to be seen. Great care will have to be taken removing the parts! I may paint them with Italian Ducati red, I will see what I think when the time comes.
Next up are blister packs with all the cast metal parts. Cast quality is very good, and from what I have seen no clean up is required.
Well thats it for now, second layer will be explored (yes there is another layer!) once I start the build as that is where the engine parts are lurking!
Sorry about the first pic, forgot to resize it!!! lol

I found the second and third level! The cast parts are superb, the plastic parts are on sprues and pre painted so some touch up will be required once they have been removed, luckily I have the paint from my 1:12 scale build so no problems.

That's a lovely kit! Are you planning to start the build straight away or it goes into the stash for now? I can't wait to receive mine to just unpack it and see the sprues, but into the stash it goes. I have too much on the go for now.

Is that metal or prepainted plastic?

Cam cover and plug cap are plastic, the rest is cast metal. The plastic will need touching up paint wise as its painted on the sprue.

I see it now. Might be tricky to match the paint?
