I have built many RC kits in my time, nitro and elecrtic, planes cars and trucks, but never a bike!! Well now I have one to try out. Very interested to see how they work and being a Motorcycle tech this is right up my street. Build to follow, but some pics of the kit to start.Nemesis attached the following image(s):

This will be interesting. How does it stay vertical? You need to actively ride it forward or does it have a flywheel? Happy building :-) http://www.model-space.com/gb/

It seems to have some sort of gyro in the back wheel, but all will be revealed a bit more when I start building it! Its a rather interesting looking kit and there are loads of parts!!

Well the video has explained that then, there is an electric gyro in the back wheel, and after seeing how well they go I can't wait to get this outside!!

Well I started looking through the parts tonight, and ended up building the back wheel!! It does explain how it stays upright, with a masive electric gyro in the back wheel, although some versions come with a mechanical gyro. Also this version comes with a front disc brake, you will see that later in the build.Nemesis attached the following image(s):

Nice looking kit! I have been playing with RC bikes recently thinking they would make a nice difference from cars. They are really fun to drive and am already looking at picking up a bigger/better 1/5 model. Is this one nitro or electric? The sound of nitro engines would suite a bike perfectly. Looking forward to seeing this build. Finished 3D Printer, RB7, Hummer, Skyrider drone & Combat tank collection http://www.model-space.com/gb/

The good thing about electric is ease of use but they do tend to be toy-like. If you want noise, sheer power and the ability to run all day long without downtine for recharching every 15/20 mins, then nitro is the way to go, though commands a price that is treble that of electric but far less toy-like and sounds like a real two-stroke bike.

Someone reminded me that I had not given a scale for the size of the bike (thanks Tomick) so here is the standard by which all models are measured by, the two pence piece!Nemesis attached the following image(s):

Judging by the size of this one Nem you could be riding it yourself...lol....

The front wheel is built up, its bigger than the rear so a 2p to give a size reference. Rear swing arm is done, chain has some tight spots so it was a pain to adjust, after a few runs it should settle and and I can adjust it again. Next step is the front forks.Nemesis attached the following image(s):
