Hi all not sure what I have done to anger the Modelspace gods this time but...

I have a problem with the hole the long screw is supposed to slide through on the extruder arm. It only fits half way through before being too tight. Nothing like in the magazine where it says to be careful it does not go out of the other side.

Does anyone else have this issue?

The screw should pass all the way through. Don't force it as you may crack the plastic. If you carefully pass a drill bit through the hole to assist with clearance, this should resolve it.

That's what I did in the end last night but unfortunately it cracked as I removed it.

The drill bit size needs to be gradual rather than full diameter, otherwise it will crack the plastic in the same manner as forcing the screw.

I am also missing some nuts from pack 12 but have ordered some on eBay. I think I may be able to get it working as it is while I wait for the replacement.

I had the same issue, screw goes halfway through, I managed to slowly screw it through by turning the screw halfway clockwise and then back, repeated this thread cutting process until the screw went all the way through. If you take it slowly it will work. I'm past that bit now and the printer is working.

I just caught it when I was removing the screw. It only snapped the corner off and the arm still moves so I am going to give it a go when my nuts arrive from eBay.
