Awww cheers for the concern I'm OK, but absolutely knackered, the kids have had a week off school, and the wife has shopped till I dropped, ready for Christmas, it's that time of year again, everyone shopping for their loved ones, ramming you with trolleys, pushing, shoving I love Christmas A huge thanks for your concern and thoughts, that's so nice!!!!!! I'm still around, keeping an eye on the posts and making the odd contribution you may have missed. I made a decision about six weeks ago to cancel my Victory subscription. I felt that if I am going to spend that much money, in the long run I should use my money instead on a one-off purchase of a higher quality kit. So I've no Victory log to contribute to just now. At present, I'm concentrating on my HMS Halifax build which is still making slow, but steady, progress. This weekend I have just realised that it will soon be the local Archaeology group's Christmas party and they are expecting my usual video show, so I'm bent over my video editing software bringing the year's activities together! Thanks for thinking of me and if I can be of help in answering posts I shall continue on this forum Best of luck to all those who are putting up some really interesting Victory builds Mike T

Sorry to see you have finished your build. Which kit are you saving up for?

I haven't finally decided, but when I have the time and Halifax is nearing completion I will review the options again, at the moment I'm leaning towards the Jokita/Caldercraft kit. I believe that, generally speaking, you get what you pay for.
