Paul your build is looking great. All the more so considering you are having difficulty with your hands. Can I ask, are doing a bit of sanding as you go? Jimmy L.
current builds : Lancaster 1/32 (Hachette) Revell USS Kearsarge Titanic Lifeboat
I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Thank you ALL FOR YOUR KIND COMMENTS. Dunno how many of us are in wheelchairs but me & jonny7england are. I don't feel sorry for myself as I try to control the disability and being a stubborn old sod I simply refuse to let it control me and I'm up for a laugh even if it's at myself. Yes I am doing a bit of sanding as I go, just imagine when the hull is complete we would be sanding for weeks.

The build so far.I have been lucky 'cos I have not had any problems with rib 15 that can't be easily rectified with thought and patience. The latest pics show some close ups, I would be grateful for your observations and thoughts. The dreaded rib 15 revealed When I first started this build I didn't realise the quality of product I would be getting. I built the Mantua Victory some years ago but it wasn't a patch on this. The instructions and guidance we get (despite some teething problems initially) is good. I take my hat off to Tomick 'cos he picks up any printing errors and general mistakes and corrects them without personal comment or gripe.

Dunno if this will be of help to anyone. I hit on this idea to help us cripples on the forum. I found it helped me with my measuring and saved a lot of time. See what you think and feel free to use it if it helps: A 31mm template type of thingy to draw a line for the second row of gun ports. This is how it works:- Run it the whole length of the hull. It will automatically follow the gentle curve. Then tape up your steel rule to give the 4.5mm measurement. Then use yer 12mm template to finish off. All done except the one at the pointed end and the one at the blunt end.......Good innit????? Seriously guys & gals I hope this helps.
