BigGrin Hi Magpie see u have zoomed in on the last picture

Hope you don't mind me saying but my attention kept getting drawn to the earlier drop plank
First thoughts were "what happened there"

being a "big fan" of your build diaries & knowing your high standards and meticulous eye for detail i had a harder look and realise its not the shape or fitting of the drop plank but the colour of the drop plank that was drawing my attention to it

Seems to be a lighter shade than the 2 planks joining it (maybe just flash off the camera)

I take it it will blend in with a light sand & varnish??

Hi Budgie,

yes it is slightly lighter m8, It was a 10mm walnut plank because i had glued the other two planks and they came too 6mm so had to use a 10mm planed to 6mm, I will see how it looks with a bit of wet on it.. Thanks

Chris..

Hi All, Cheers Jack

I've managed to complete one side with just 6 planks on the other side. I have given the front a light sanding over to check all is well.

Here are the upto date picks.

Hi,

Thanks guys for your nice comments.

I have now installed the stern post and sanded smooth. Then proceeded to install the cabin. Then instructions are vague so just did it the way i wanted to and with pics of the prototype. I've only got as far as the last pics, may be going slower this week as I have 3 shifts at work then 1 day off then on for 4 Nights 11 til 8....YAWN.. I will be tired.. All for more money lol..
