Hello Kev, thanks for looking in and your comment. Its my first WWI tank ever and I am really enjoying it.
Dave, I am really impressed with Takom, will certainly build others from them.

Not really seen a Takom kit before. It certainly looks similar to Tamiya in terms of quality.

Looks like its going to be a cracking model, I hope you have lots of mud ready!

Would this tank have been painted warship grey?

Hi Kenjara thanks for looking in and your comment. The kit is on par with a Tamiya for build, but I think the detail is better. As for the paint, this will have a four colour camo scheme outlined with black.

I have started work on the sponsons, the 6 pounders are finished and the detail is really superb. Its a real shame that you can't see them when the kit is finished.

That looks fantastic Daran, I'm amazed at the level of detail in this kit and those guns look superb. I love your photo of the interior with the sponson removed - almost feel like I could crawl inside and start the thing up!!

Top job my friend, looking forward to seeing some paint and weathering on this.

Hi all and thanks for you comments, very enjoyable build, and the kit has really crisp detail.
Unfortunately Phil, the female kit has the mine mesh and for some strange reason they did not add it for the Male, which is a shame as it would be a nice add on. Luckily the MkI I am doing didn't have it, just a rolled up tarp which I will make myself.
