Operational on all fronts during the second World War, the Hurricane came to be regarded as one of the most, (I think) rugged and reliable fighter and ground attack aircraft in the RAF and undoubtedly in it defensive role during the battle of Britain in 1940's.

Designed by Sydney Camm.

Powered by a Rolls-Royce P.V.12 engine (Merlin).

Armament: 8. 303 machine guns.

I decided to have a go at this one as my Grandson will be doing a school project and needs a model to work from, so although it has taken me away from the Spitfire build I will be worth it for him to help him with his project, so this is as far as I am for now. (I will be finishing this one)

More soon, pictures are a bit dark but I'm working on it.

Regards

Trev.

Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

OcCre- Santa-Maria (Kit).

Andy,

Thanks for posting, yes it has made a change to work in plastic where most parts fit together in one go, so the next update will be the finished model!!

Lovely work Trev, love your pre-shading on the wings and fuselage, and the pilot/cockpit section looks great too. Lovely work on the Merlin really looks the part when it's sitting inside the fuselage half, but such a shame that it'll all be covered up later!!

Looking forward to seeing this finished Trev, keep up the good work.

Hi Derek,Nemesis,Alan,

@ Derek Got to be finished July.

@ Nemesis thank you for thoughts.

@ Alan thank you for looking, I originally brought this model as a guide for a very large Hurricane which I will be building at the end of the year, but my grandson had a better idea.

Regards to you all,
