One for Tomock and co, should this 1st plank curve upwards from the horizontal as it bends around the bow ? it follows the lower deck and tends to curve upwards,i dont want to carry on until i know its right,once i got the 1st plank in right,i think ill be ok

My curve on the Bow was a little less than yours, and I had no problems, as when your planks start to rise, you can taper them for any height adjustments, besides that, due to the curve on the front, if you tried to force the plank to become straighter, you will kinker the bend, forcing the plank out from the hull, and waste all that lovely tapering you did!

I hope this helps, and If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will point it our=t soon enough BigGrin

Cheers David,

The distance from the curve of the plank to the top of the front formers is equal, just dont want to put anymore on and then have to take them all off again.
