Finished painting the mono, nosecone, tires, and the wing end plates this weekend. Here are the tires. I used the stencil that came with the Museum Collection decals: Did a final coat of smoke over the monococque: Then a coat of satin clear. With flash: Without: The nosecone also got another two layers of smoke,then flat clear. Flash: No flash: The endplates got the fine line decals (you can also see the brake discs here... I shot them silver while I had it in the airbrush): Then 3 layers of smoke: Finally 3 layers of gloss clear. With flash: Without:

Looks superb, really is going to be a superb model when done.

Worked on the radiators a little. Added shrink wrap to simulate the silicone hose, and PE clamps from Autograph.

WOW some fantastic touches SARON81, love the gearbox bolts very nicely done keep ip the great work regards Dan Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4. Working - Mclaren M23 1/8th scale to complement the Deagostini MP4/23 & Mp4/4 on the bench, Model Airways Sopwith Camel.

What is everyone doing for a display case? I'd really like the Japan release one with the body stand, but have been unsuccessful in finding one.

That looks amazing!! I love your mods, they make such a difference! As for a case, I haven't given it much though until I start building, and thats a while away yet.
