made a big boo boo i made my launch i missed the bit u double layer the first row of planking either side ive cut it off the jug well pleased with my self untill i seen the error do u thing it would it look worse if i put them on now also is it extra plank either side or 2 either side

I suggest you add a single plank on each side before you consider cutting the slots for the oars. Each plank just needs to follow the same line as the top planks you have already used in the launch. The way I did my launch, these were the only planks that are a whole width without any shaping. See launch plankingMike T
