That frame is looking good and BIG as well. Looking forward to the planking bringing on some real shape, that`s when you can really appreciate the ships lines. Can highly recommend Google Translate should the Italian give you any grief later on. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Thanks everyone, appreciated as always. Now completed Issue 16, adding more ribs and reinforcing pieces to the stern. This issue also highlighted a couple of problems, namely that one of the barrels on the supplied AA gun is broken so some repair work will need to be done here. The photo in the instructions also show more than one AA gun in the package but only one has been supplied. Whether this will end up being a problem later on is something I will have to wait and see to find out... Happy building all.... Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):

You could always consider casting more AA guns if they are missing from the content using the same method Andy uses to cast in resin

Well, cracked on with issue 17. This involved finishing off the stern section with the adding of the deck supports and final reinforcing pieces. This now means the skeleton of the ship is now complete and will be removing from it from the build board once all is dry. Next stage is to fair the hull and start the first of the planking.. Happy building all... Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):

Regards Paul Thanks Gibbo, appreciate you looking in... She's quite a big girl, her length is 1200mm and is all planked, no panel that I can see so far... Regards Alan

Have now come to the end of issue 18. Final two reinforcing pieces have been added before moving on to fairing the ribs ready for planking. Once happy I finally got the planking underway, 5 rows either side on the centre section. The planks have all been predrilled to ensure no splits appear when pinning, edges of the planks have also being glued.... Happy building all.. Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):
