Well after twelve and a half months it's finally finished, not the best job in the world but
as it's my first wooden ship I have built and struggled enormously with the planking got there in the end. I'm quite happy with the results(wouldn't stand up to close scrutiny though). I have learned quite a lot with a lot of help from the forum members and following most of the excellent builds on here for inspiration. I definitely have a long way to go. I have already got my first two packs for the Soliel Royal but I am having a little break mending all the cuts on my fingers and tidying up my work space and then onto the new build. Thanks to all the forum members who have helped my on my journey.

I think that`s a great result and something you should be very proud of.

You have been awarded a "Red" medal for completing your build.

Well done.

Already looking forward to your next build.

Your Vic looks fantastic, you should be very proud and 12 months is pretty quick work too. I think mine took 2 years and 10 months :-)

Enjoy your break and then on to the next one!
