I wasn't aware of this incident Alan, so thanks for highlighting it and let's hope that all are found alive and well.

The Antonov An-32 is getting on a bit now with the majority of production being between 1984-1992, and India has been undergoing an upgrade/modernisation programme on the type to improve the avionics, etc, so let's hope this isn't the result of a maintenance or technical fault which has ended up costing lives, though the report says it is currently the monsoon season around the Bay of Bengal so likely weather related?
