A beautiful model Tom and sure to be very popular when it is released. 'Wingnut Wings' make some fabulous WW1 kits my favourite of which are the SE.5A and the Felixstowe F.2A (Late version) Flying Boat, both of which I'd like to build at some point, though these kits are challenging even for experienced modellers, but what quality and detail in all of their kits - just fabulous!!
Thanks for the head's up on the Camel.

I have their Gotha kit and it is superb. The fit is perfect and the molding detail is as good as if not better than Tamiya

I have to admit to not have heard of Wingnut prior to this post.
It's not a subject that takes my interest but looking at the pictures that looks like it will be a gorgeous looking model.
I see that it says the fine details could change but they do pull of all the details on show I'm sure people will go crazy for this

Carl The Gotha looks an impressively detailed kit Carl and a lengthy wingspan too which should test your rigging skills!! I see from the photos on the WW website that it can carry up to eleven bombs which was a huge amount in the old days of wood, fabric and wire!? With a bomb load like that and such long wings it must have been the WW1 version of the B-52!!
I hope you'll do a build diary when you start it, that would be something to watch with interest.

You are a lucky boy Derek!! WIngnut wings used to offer free shipping for New Zealand. They just stopped that and now charge, but I still think their kits are worth the money. They are very well designed to make painting easier and there is no need for any aftermarket sets.
I have seen reviews of all of the wingnut wings kits and they have all been excellent.I really think they have the best WW1 kits available.

Wing nut wings do some great stuff and this looks the best yet. I have been looking for somthing to do a black and white paint job, maybe this would be the kit? Jase “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain
