So, it's been 8 weeks and I have finally finished the repairs. The hull is nearly perfectly straight - kept it in dry dock as long as possible during the replanking process. There is an upside in having to redo the planing in that I got much better at it. In fact, I put a true effort in doing a bang up job on the port side. When compared to the starboard, there is a noticeable difference, but as I am painting her it shouldn't show.

You can see the the images where there are gaps in my first attempts at planking and the re-planking on the port side has little to no gaps at all. All in all its been a great experience, but I have to say I am happy to be done with the planking and am fully ready to move on to some of the awesome detail work.

And thanks to all for all the great tips and recommendations, they proved valuable throughout.
