Thought I'd share a few pics of the Scots Guardsman 46115. Taken at Llandudno Junction the train was enroute to Preston from Blaenau Ffestiniog. We see Steamers around 10 times a yr as they pass the bottom of our garden. This was the kids first time seeing one stopped , refilling and re coupling to the front. Was great to see it.

great pics, thanks for sharing, last time i was on a steam train was The North Yorkshire moor run to Whitby, loved every minute with the windows open and the soot coming in, you dont get to smell that everyday.

Lovely pictures Chris. The kids will remember that for the rest of their lives as you can't beat the smell of live steam. As a lad I remember the Golden Arrow coming through Tonbridge station at full speed

Spent many a very happy family holiday in llandudno when younger but not sure if i will ever get back to the place now.
