Rob

Nice to see your continuing progress with your build.

I can see 5 pictures in your post but only after refreshing the screen as 2 were coming up with just the image name.

I seem to get this a lot but put it down to the absolutly rubbish broadband "service" i seem to get from talktalk.

Looking forward to see more of your build.
Happy Modelling

Thanks John, inspired by all of your help. I was at the HMS Victory a couple of weeks ago, went down for the F1 at Silverstone, I was in awe of the way she was built and the similarities of the way we are building ours was truly amazing, a sight to behold.
cheers for now

I agree, this is a great model and I can't believe how enjoyable this has become. My wife even said yesterday that she thinks I am now obsessed by it.

lol. I think you have to be obsessed a bit an great deal of detail. I have really enjoyed my build. ok problems along the way but it is very satisfying to see the results of all the trials a tribulations we go through, but all the help on this forum is inspiring I have to admit. meaning we are not alone in our efforts, good or bad. (waffle waffle) LOL

Just the latest update,
just finished the wales and not sure whether to paint the straps or not. I suppose i could paint one side and leave the other side for people to see??????
a few pics as how i eventually did, I laid it at an angle so the straps touched the hull and then marked where the pins went. at first I left it upright and had trouble as the straps just dangle and not easy to put to the hull and mark.
Anybody know what has happened to the emoticons???
cheers for now
rob
ps Have to refresh the page to see pics??????????

Your decision as the builder but my preference would be to paint and keep everything looking the same.

Nice update by the way.

I just meant that if they are painted they can hardly bee seen, just seems a shame to paint them as they look brassy snazzy. lol.
cheers again
