I didn't manage to do a build diary properly for my Victory. Hopefully I will do better with this one.

At first glance the wood is top class not to sure about the planks I found them a bit flimsy, and looking at the instructions I couldn't fathom out the spacing for stage 1 it all seemed a bit Iggledy piggledy. So i took a bold step (for me anyway) to change the spacing to a more uniformal one , will it pan out who knows just have to wait and see. So here we go. Stage 1 and 2 are complete.

That's it for now

Stages 6 & 7 completed.

I really do not like the wood used for the decking it is so flimsy It was difficult trying to cut the planks where the grating is going without the wood splintering in fact it did a couple of times, hopefully the gratings when fitted will cover those up.

Looking good

With the cutting of the planks around the holes I placed a metal ruler on the planks and then ran a sharp scalpel across them several times which seemed to do the trick

The wood used for the decking is Lime wood Strips.
Your doing a great job on her Terry.

The brown wood is Sapele too.
What I use to stop the Sapele curling is evostik impact glue. Put a thin coat on the strip and a thin coat on the ply. Wait to dry for about 5 minutes then place them together. BUT you only get one attempt as once together they dont come apart easily.
