Hope to see more of yours soon. :-) Keeping on this while I'm having a run. The engine segment and rear suspension were mounted. Word of advice. If you predrill or not, for screwing in the connecting screws between both segments it is incredibly helpful to use a quality ratchet screwdriver with pistol grip. I found a Wiha Topra 282 in a box the other day. Didn't even know I had this, but I'd have been pretty darn lost without it.

Nice work Michael, great to see the engine module attached to the centre section, beginning to look more like a car now - well done.

I have now begun adding the body panels Unfortunately I have also spent at least 4 hours now unsuccessfully trying to mount the hood. There's something very very wrong here. If DeAgo is going to offer an upgraded Pocher, this area needs some serious reworking.

This cost me at least 4 years of my life If you're building one yourself do not under any circumstances follow the order given on page 27. Use this order instead: - Fit BR-03/BR-02 (former step 2) - Fit B-04/B-03 (former step 3) - Fit HT-02/HT-01 (former step 4), but NOT to the hood K#24 as instructed, fit both to K#23 instead. The HT parts are a bit too big for where they should be so wedge the fore part of it below the protusions in front of the place they should sit (those protusions are not in the instructions and prohobit following the given order. - Fit both L-04 (former step 1) - Fit the Hood K#24 to K#23 via the hinges. This requires short screwdrivers, a steady hand and careful maneuvring. Or a pair of additional hands. - Fit K#23 to the rest of the assembly

Finished the rear bodywork. For the convenience of any aspiring Pocher builder I have attached a short list of everything that was wrong in the instructions after attaching the hood. - every - single - thing No really, if you just exchange every mention of any part with its counterpart you'll fare much better. Also it helps to take the illustration of some parts and turn it around 180 degrees, because that's how it actually needs to fit.

Thank you for posting your experience with page 27. In looking at your photo it appears the moveable side panels do not sit flush when closed, have you tried using a heat gun to attempt to correct this? I had the same issue with the matt black coupe. Looks like the color is spot on between the metal and plastic pieces, is this correct?

The side panels are ok, they just got knocked around a bit when installing the hood and I forgot to reseat them before taking the picture with the closed hood. The color is suprisingly well done. I have some very tiny unfortunate points where there's discoloration on a former sprue attachment point. I'll have to see if I can hide this with apropriate color or if I'm leaving them as is. They're mostly only visible to people looking for them.

still missing tyres, brakes, underbody and some small detail parts, but mostly it's done. Doors and the front went together mostly without problems. Though the doors don't stay open as nicely as they should, but then again that's a problem with most wing door designs in models. I'm going to stuff some more lead in there and see how it goes.

Rapidly approaching the end now. Wheel housing, hubs and tyres went on without a hitch. In fact I've seldom seen tyres go on this well. On the not so bright side , the wheels are just screwed onto the wheel holders/axles. There's no bushings, no bearings, no poly-caps. This is disappointing. Also finally found a functional use for my laptop bag.

Yeah, the blue is fascinating. Underbody installed. Now just the side skirts and we're done. The doors are working correctly now too. Amazingly I didn't even change anything.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand it's done! Ultimately it looks very nice, there are a few spots here and there where it one still sees marks where parts where cut from the sprues. It is unimaginable why those very few sprue attachment points would be where they are. I'll have to see if I can get a Lamborghini touchup pen for these. I can see now why so many of these Pocher build logs never finish. The horrendous part fit in the engine compartment combined with the material makes finishing one of these kits a chore rather than a hobby. At least I got a workout out of it. I have secured the services of a photographer friend who wants to branch out into object photography, so after a bit of touch up and clean up, we'll have a nice photo session with the car. Would I buy it again? No. Not from Pocher in any case. I am rather more excited now about what DeAgostini will do with the Special Edition.
