Making steady (but slow) progress with the build. I am doing the handrails at the moment and have a question about step 18 which refers to the parapets of the upper quarterdeck. It says that these should be 5.5mm long. Does this mean the inside length of the uprights or should I allow for the thickness of the gunwales (2mm) they are glued to? With the gunwales glued onto the uprights they become 3.5 mm which seems a bit short. In the assembly guide pictures the gunwales of the upper quarterdeck look like they reach the curved part of the stern crown (step 18) I am attaching a picture of me holding the gunwale in place with 5.5mm uprights. ..........can't seem to attach the image!!

Looking at your picture it looks fine to me. If you look at Mr T official build it looks the same. If you resize your pictures to 600/400 they will show as pictures and not down loads . Hope this helps rgd Martyn Building ? Completed. Soliei Royal . Sovereign of the Seas . Virginia . Scotland . San Felipe . Corel vasa , Santisima Trinadad X section , Vasa Next Build ?
