BigGrin Hi All

Spotted this on flea-bay going for £45 so couldnt resist. This is another I.D.F vehicle from Legend the Puma being the Israeli army's heavily armored Combat engineering vehicle and armored personnel carrier that the Engineering Corps of the Israeli Defence Forces has used since the early 1990s.

The vehicle can carry a crew of up to eight and is armed with four machine guns , one can be remotly fired from inside the tank. Based on the Sho't which is a modified Centurion tank it has been doing sterling work but to cope with roadside bombs they are now upgrading some Puma's to counter this new form of attack.

The kit is in Legends sturdy cardboard box that when opened reveals the two page shiny color A4 instruction's printed on both sides so four pages. One page has a pictorial of all the parts to aid recognition the rest involve the build.

Four bags of parts are next containing wheels, tracks and two of hull parts next to these are the crisply cast upper and lower one piece hull castings all in a white resin.

Below this is the template to aid making the baggage basket at the rear of the hull. Lastly a large bag containing brass wire, string and a large piece of etch that is as big as the box.

All in all another top Kit from Legend with lots of detail and will build into a very nice kit.

Hi All

Although the tracks provided with the kit are excelent the trimming of the casting blocks can damage the edges of the tracks so For this build I went to Fruel. The puma is based on the Centurion tank hull so a set was sent for and has duly arrived.

To get an idea if you have not built a full resin kit look at the Merkava build below:-

and the finished build

Fantastic review and a superb looking kit. I went with Friul tracks on the Centurion. Looking forward to your build.
