Good stuff, that is where I am I have issue 68.
So I am guessing that soon I will be billed for month 18, issues 69, 70, 71 and 72.
However Month 18 is currently not in stock.

I hear ya bro... but I'm kinda stoked... I finally got my extra 4 binders in the mail last night and was finally able to put all my mags in one place instead of in a box. I spent all last night sorting out all my issues and filled 3 binders with mags. Got 4 started in the 4th binder and have one ready to go. I also consolidated all the unopened bags I had into a large container ready to go. I haven't even opened 48-64 yet. I should be getting 65-68 this week. When I get all the issues thru 72, I'll start putting the top section together. I haven't glued anything together yet at all. I keep finding new things to 3D model for the interior to add to it. Like last week I finished making an accurate to the movie ESB port wall (so we having something other then just a blank wall there to look at!) I fixed that god aweful machine room door to be more accurate and added the extra ring, greeblies and room. While I was at it, I figured I might as well do an ANH version too with all the piping and grating on the wall. I think they came out looking pretty good. I attempted to photo-match the geometry as much as possible. I've been thinking of doing the same for a TFA version but not quite sure yet. One thing I did notice thou in ANH... there are only 4 support pillar frames... not 5 like everyone is using in the build! Oh... the OCD is strong with me! :) LOL

Here's the ESB version of that wall I did...

And here's the ANH version... whatcha think?

Needless to say, I've been a bit busy on this!

So did you 3D print those parts? They look good if available I would like the ESB STL file so that I can print this out at some point. Funny when it rains it pours, I received my self assembly 3D printer from a Kickstarter that I pledged to last year. I already have one 3D printer and I also have another coming soon. So now I have my time divided with building the new printer and building the Falcon.

They look brilliant wouldn't know where to start with 3d printing, but very impressive.

Sorry I don't have STLs for sale. But you can find them if you want the printed parts.

Well in my effort to make my build more complete, I discovered something that I never noticed before... that there were only 4 support frames in ANH instead of the assumed 5 that you see in ESB and TFA. So... of course I had to update my front wall inserts. I also took the tubes out so they are easier to paint and went ahead and made a complete front wall replacement (with a hole in it for fiber optics or wires). Here's the results:

Here's my ANH version (hardly any greeblies on the frames except these two dryer tubes attached to a board hanging off the first one):

And this is my ESB+ version with 5 frames (I added a few greeblies and wires onto the frames themselves):

Now along the way I noticed that the whole Starboard wall really needed an update too, so again I replicated the wall and proceeded to fix all the problems (including adding the wall pit, fixing the really tube, and the tube details on the wall. I ended up making two versions of it... a stock version and an extended version that is much more accurate.

Here's my Stock version:

And here's my extended version (notice the end of the wall needs to be extended and bend about 9mm). In any event here's what I came up with.

I hope these are acceptable and hope everyone likes them. I've also just finished a replacement for the gunner turret hallway. It simulates the way the ladder tube looks in the movies as close as I possibly could get. The tube dosn't actually connect to the gun turret rooms, but it also doesn't disturb them either. Here's what I came up with:

Am really stoked.  I got my ESB Port Wall from SW the other day and finally got around to painting it last night.  I tell you what... this thing looks AWESOME!  And I haven't even put the light or the tubes/wires/cubby hole in it yet.  Take a look for yourself!

Well I've been been painting my Turret Tube Replacement and I gotta say... I'm very happy with it. Here's what it looks like (before I add lights to it!)

And here's a comparison of my part against the supplied stock part. You can see, mine definitely looks more movie accurate (even if it doesn't connect the turrets together, but then it never would be able to!)

And it fits the corridor perfectly... here's a test fitting before painting:

When I first saw this piece, I couldn't figure out how that would work. But I take the point that it's movie accurate rather than just accurate. Looks excellent though.

I think the main goal I had in mind was to be able to look down the cockpit corridor and see that ladder and tube like you would the actual set. Sure it may not connect the actual gunner rooms like it's suppose to, but that's where the sets differ from the actual model. However, with this small modification, it definitely makes it look alot more accurate to the movie set! But, then I got to thinking. Now that we know that the whole turret rotates, who's to say that the turrets don't rotate to connect to the tube in THIS position before the gunners enter the alcove? Then that would make sense and this would connect the turrets to the tube and it would be in this position all the time. Then that would mean that Lucas when filming only messed up the part where the ladder tube was missing from the background and you could see bits moving back and forth past the opening as the room spun to fire the cannons. Hmmmmmmmmm... quite a poser! :)

Thanks for the info, I think it would look great looking down the cockpit corridor as you said, especially when it is lit, thinking about buying one myself now, When you have finished that part of the corridor, could you post some pictures of it lit up.
Thanks Mark

Of course I will... this is my build log after all. I still have a few more parts I wanna make, one being revamping those wall sconces. All the ones that have been made so far are too big in diameter. You should be able to fit 5 lights on one long cushion. Right now the only ones available only allow for 4 lights to fit. Even the Paragrafix ones are too big in diameter (I know, I've got them). They need to be smaller... and it's something I'm working on now.

I've been making parts and making them available on Shapeways. They have really good printers!
