Airborne at Eastbourne this weekend, i'm very lucky to live only five minutes from here, this is where i walk my dog but i cant take credit for the photo, i was sitting in my garden this afternoon and The Memorial Flight flew straight over my house at what i can only estimate to be about 500ft, it was an amazing this to see, hear and especially feel that rumble.

Very nice Gibbo, very evocative with the white cliffs and the sea beneath, could easily have been a scene from WWII with the three aircraft heading for France or Germany?

I was down on the Eastbourne seafront myself yesterday and watched their display as part of the show which is always great to watch and I go every year. One of the best spots for aviation buffs is to sit up on top of Beachy Head by the pub as that area is used as a holding spot by a lot of the aircraft before they head down into the bay for their display runs and they're often no more than 50-100 above your head up there - photographers paradise though personally I prefer to not be looking through a camera when it happens, just savour the moment instead?
