On my list of "I will get one of those at some point" list I have wanted a hand held universal clamp and finally tracked one down at an excellent price of £6.99 with free postage on eBay.

While I have bench mounted clamps and vices I wanted something hand held as sometimes your hand/wrist has a wider range of motion than a fixed base and makes the item easier to use.

This model is branded under the Tool Zone brand and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived as the quality is very good.

The handle is lovely and smooth and that was a surprise because for the price I had expected something maybe a little on the rough side.

The clamp hand screws very firmly onto the handle. Being made of aluminium it’s also very light which is important for a hand held device.

The box states that it comes with 4 pins but the both the eBay picture and my unit come with 8.
