As noted in the instructions of Pack 12 at Stage 30 - for the operation of the RC system on the chassis, you will need a rechargeable 6-volt 1600mAh 2/3A Ni-Cd or Ni-MH (Nickel-Metal Hydride or Nickel Cadmium) “in-line” receiver battery pack with JST (BEC) male plug to suit the JST female socket of the on/off Switch harness.
You will also require a compatible Charger and should ensure that your chosen battery pack is of a suitable size to fit into the battery box on the chassis.

Intelligent 500mA smart charger:
The Smart Charger is designed to charge Nickel-Metal Hydride or Nickel Cadmium ( Ni-Cd or Ni-MH) 4-10 cell battery packs. The Smart Charger has a microprocessor-control system which can distinguish a 4~10 cell pack automatically and cut-off the charging accordingly, manual-adjustment is not needed.
Cell life is protected by –dV detection and timer protection.
