As expected, the first box has arrived, lots to do Month 1 which is good as the early months of my other two builds don't require much early on. Will be watching videos, reading forums, and need to go dig through some boxes to find some of my building supplies as it's been a while since I've done any builds.

Officially started this build today, just put together a few pieces to get it going. Now off to read, plan, figure out what paint colors for some of the parts that need painting this month so I can get those on order if I don't already have them, etc... So far very pleased with the quality of this kit, and the presentation. Have some small storage bins on the way from amazon to keep the little parts and items that won't be used until later.

Looking good so far. I think this will be the most challenging of the 3 builds you have taken on. Just be on the look out for warped wood parts. I guess it's pretty common with these kits.

Thanks for the tip, so far no warped pieces but not far into it yet, but definitely will keep my eye open for them. I agree, I think this is most challenging, the falcon next (mostly due to painting, detailing, weathering, and the Shelby will be pretty straight forward.

Little more progress this evening, skipping some of the smaller parts like the cannon and anchor right now, but will circle up and get those done this weekend (fingers crossed). Planning to pick up a hobby table (work bench) this weekend to get my builds set up in the home office so everything stays organized, and off the dining room table.

Coming together nicely. Definitely a bonus if you can leave it all set up, l build on the kitchen table but luckily for me the wife doesn't mind (:-)

Very nice start to your build.

The magazines that come with this model are very good indeed and as the series progresses there are no end of excellent home made tool ideas to read through.

Hope the rest of the build goes well.
Happy Modelling

A little more progress, plus I had time to shift the build from the dining room table into my office area so I can leave everything out and make a bit more progress (especially before the next box arrives).
