When I went to install these, I wish the instructions had noted that you have to unwind the screws on the upper suspension arms when it's necessary to install the lower engine covers. Note: Pack 30, Step 7 - ">>>tighten all six screws..." Mine was a tight fit and I id tighten them but using some effort. Unfortunately, in Pack 35 in attaching the lower engine covers you're instructed to "Carefully remove the type "E" screw that holds the forward end of the upper wishbone..." I found this to be exceptionally hard and actually had to destroy the screw, using a needle nose plier to remove the screw as the driver wouldn't bite. So, my suggestion is to leave the wishbone screws halfway. Question for others, once I'd done that, the lower engine covers had a pretty big gap. Does tis get addressed late?

Hi BillR, the lower engine covers can be a loose fit at this stage but should tighten up later on in the build once the underbody is fitted. Have a read of the official build diary and some of the other build diarys which may help you with how things should look at future stages.

Hope this helps, but if not if you could put some pics up showing the issue then that may help.
