Planking of Gallery Support Options

Hi Shipmates,

I'm a newbie, the Victory is my first wooden model.
I'm doing the planking of the gallery support. After the last plank on the curved part a quite big gap left on my ship.
If I try to put an other plank, it stands nearly vertical.
Should I put this vertical plank there or leave the gap and the planks of the hull will cover this gap?

hi ginger ale..taper a piece of plank so it fits in the gap or if the plank fits in the gap on its edge fit it then trim it off flush with the ones that are there already...paul
