I am starting to assemble the bowsprit from Issue 113 and notice that the plan specifies 10mm eyebolts. The only eyebolts I have received are 7mm. Were the ones in Issue 63 7mm or 10mm? Unfortunately I did not put the Issue number on the bag so I assume they were from Issue 63. Does it matter if you use 7 mm for this phase? I have managed to scrounge up about 30 10mm eyebolts from leftovers of my Victory build.

Hi aurelius I don't think it makes any difference as they only hold the blocks and I made my own a bit smaller as the larger size looked to big. Hope this helps rgd Martyn Building ?

Thanks Martyn. I agree, looking at the full scale plans the 10mm eyebolts do look a bit out of scale so I will go with the 7mm ones
