I'm not a fan of the F-14, I find the shape a little too awkward for my liking, but despite that it's always great to see ANY aircraft being restored, so well done to all of those involved!! Cool ThumpUp

Thanks for sharing this Tom.

The F-14 must be popular enough worldwide for Hachette to release it as a Partwork, one of my fav aircraft of all time, only because of Top Gun and of course Kelly McGillis Laugh LOL

Yeah, it does seem to be very popular, granted, though we all have different views about what looks good or not - though I defy anybody to say they don't think Kelly McGillis was hot in that movie!! Lol!! BigGrin Love Drool

My all-time favourite US Navy jet has to be the F-18 (both Hornet and Super Hornet). Cool Cool Cool

Top gun was a great movie, the F14 was an ugly aircraft in my opinion, as are most swing wings - the F111 being no exception!
Still great to see any aircraft being restored though BigGrin
