Thank's Stephen, and the wife enjoyed the Ferrero Rocher's. Funny I only need two wrappers, but they have all gone. HAHA Mark

Stunning build and those sweetyvwrappers look really good. They have some texture that works really well with this build. Happy Modelling

Thanks Tunko and Tony Just had to show my Flux Capacitor, actually its the power core and power converter. I’m doing no more fiddling, just painting the detail now. It has just taken most of today to do the lighting effect, making sure it wont intrude with any of the inner hull section when put together. Thanks Mark

I'm going to try and finish off the left hand mandible this weekend, now I have finished the gun turret interior. I'm quite pleased how its turned out, but Ive spent far to much time on it, got to get back to the main model now. Here are some pictures of the finished interior. Thanks Mark

Thanks Ade, I'm waiting to get the panels to fit the Hold area in, then I can fit the additional cargo area I've done as well, along with the inner turret, I'm hoping it will look quite effective. Didn't know the Delorean was back, I did subscribe to it months ago and got the first few issues then it stopped. Not heard from them though.

I've just gone through your build thread, simply jaw dropping Mark! Really appreciate the link to the painting video. Looking forward to watching and learning!

Many thank Jedieb, I found the videos very helpful when I started, although I have adapted things along the way. I have been building the mandible today, or started painting the side pieces. At the rate it's taking me to paint these pieces and all the extra tinkering I'm doing, I reacon I'm in for another year. Just been pre painting this afternoon before I fix any of the parts, it's taking ages, but don't want to rush things. Here are a couple of pictures of my progress so far. Thanks for looking. Mark

The painting on that mandible side piece is frickin amazing!

So I have spent the last three evenings fitting the mandible together and and weathering the side panels. Its only taken about a month to do this and I’m still not finished, just need to put the final pipes on the top hull. And I not started the other one yet…..but I can see it all coming together now. I tried to take pictures to show, but they weren’t coming out very well, so I did a video which shows the detail a little more. By the way I’m no George Lucas, sorry!!!! https://youtu.be/_ugMpTvHuuw

Love how your Flux Capacitor came out! Well done my friend! :)

LrdSatyr8.. Many thanks, just wish I could use it to see the finished model. My wiring loom is getting bigger with all the tinkering I’m doing, now I will start with your gunner access I got from shapeways, and attach lighting behind that. However, I have bought some PCB boards and will make my own circuit using the same connectors as the stock part, to keep it nice and tidy and for easy maintenance.
