hi Tomick,

I have made a slight cock up, i have started layer 9 planking instead of 8,the joints are hardly visable but still staggered. will this matter, ie will the darker wood cover the error ? where should i start layer 10 ? Or should i remove both layers and start again ? the book threw me having 9 before 8, should not be so impatient, just wanted to catch up a bit .

regards

Ferret

As long as you stagger the joints just carry on, though if its only one layer you might prefer to remove it and re-lay. I'm unsure what you mean by darker wood covering the error, a second darker skin is not being supplied.

Thanks Tomick

What i mean by the darker wood is the darker stripes between decks as in picture of model

it looks like there stuck on over the planking

Artful

If you click on the HMS Victory Tab at the top of the Model Space page, then click on " View more HMS Victory pictures & info, you'll find them here, I take it they are pictures of our model ?
