Can someone advise on the best tools for fairing the hull. This is my first build so i am aquirring tools as required. Many thanks. Brian

Hi Brian, I used a medium sized (sponge) sanding block with changeable (velcro) sandpaper. I'm a beginner and first went for what the pro's were using, a modelling planer. But when it arrived I decided against it as i wasn't comfortable enough using it! I'd probbaly end up taking chunks out of the ribs, lol. The sanding block was great using different grades of sandpaper. To be honest it didn't take that long either.

I would second Karl's suggestion. Again on Tomick's advice I bought a small file and set of needle files from same source. As long as you are not too heavy handed they make shaping and fitting a lot easier.
