It has arrived, all present and correct

Will have to go on the back burner for a while as I am in full decorating mode at present

I must admit I am looking forward to this build, I did enjoy building the Victory and have been waiting for the full kit of the cross section to be available

Will start a build diary in due course

In case you are wondering what a knitting needle is doing in the picture, that is my filing system. The packs are attached to the needle in reverse order so that they are easily to hand when required. No more rummaging through a pile of packs to find the one I need.

Why are the magazines starting at 121? Was it an add on for the Victory kit?

Originally the cross section was a 30 issue extension to the Victory ship collection which ended at 120,

121-130 was the cross section extension which is now offered as a kit in its own right which retains the original issue numbers.

There are no plans to release this in the USA at the moment, but you can get hold of it via international shipping.

Hi Gil, looking forward to seeing your build take shape, there not too many active X section member diarys at the moment so the more the merrier. I like your idea for a filing system, but you will find some of the earlier issues have parts used in later issues so you will most likely be rummaging later on, I know I am!

Cheers Tony

I am hoping to buy this kit next month.
As a relatively newcomer to this hobby I am looking forward to you starting your build and learning from you.
