Since many of us may be waiting until all the parts come in to start, or cooler weather can we start a thread where some of the more experienced builders can give some cool mods (example, adding lighting to the existing), ways around known issues, gotchas, etc?

This may be a good idea but why not just follow the build logs of us experienced builders? For some of us we already maintain the same build log on many forums (not just this one). For some of us it would make it even harder to maintain yet another forum thread. I know if someone asks me a question I do my best to answer it thou.

We already have this topic... http://forum.model-space...aspx?g=topics&f=102
and this one... http://forum.model-space....aspx?g=topics&f=91
I think these two topics plus all the diaries covers just about everything you could ask for..... Regards Alan

I was just thinking that since there are at least 20 really good build logs and each with dozens of pages, it may be easy to miss the really important tips that get embedded with all the well deserved great jobs, looks awesome, etc

Sounds like you're up to the task.
