Hello all
I've pondered over the following for some time and not sure if i'm understanding the sentence correctly:
"At the bow, draw lines against the sides of frames 12 and 13, then redraw the line nearest frame 15, moving it 2mm forward of the line you first marked."
It's the second part about marking nearest to frame 15 that i'm not to sure of. I don;t want to assume what i think is correct then realise later it's wrong... Can anyone post a pic of the build section the magazine is refering to so i can compare before i start cutting the upper deck gun ports?
Many thanks!
Steve

hi Karl, yes i've checked the pics out but can't really tell from them. Is it the 3rd port along (to the left of frame 14 when bow is facing right) or the 4th along (left of frame 15) which needs to be 2mm from the rib? I know i'm probably being really stupid!

The instructions for 27 show work being done on the starboard side (bow at the right), you need to redraw the line nearest frame 15. At the bow, draw lines directly against the sides of frames 12 and 13, then redraw the line nearest frame 15, moving it 2mm forward of the line you first marked, the process is repeated on the portside.
