I have uploaded a few pictures on my build log using my MacBook Pro.
First I resize the picture to 600 pixels horizontally and save to desktop.
Then I attach it to my post and post it.
However I have found that the pictures sometimes don't appear on my build log and I have to keep reloading the page for them to appear. I don't know whether this is peculiar to Macs or my browser.

in my photo bucket album, I have the pictures,
In the box that shows the picture, in the bottom right hand corner there is a small box with a tick in it,
At the bottom of the picture, in a grey box there is a file No ending in .jpg
Below the picture there are 4 boxes marked E mail & IM, Direct, HTML, & IMG

How can I get the picture on the post, I have tried putting it in-between the mountain icon, [img]http://s1251.photobucket.com/user/mosurprise/media/file_zps9b1a16f6.jpg.html?sort=3&o=3/img]

This is what happens.

Help please,

I only use an iPad or MacBook.

I've not had any issue posting photos with either one.

I just use the IMG link.

I remove the first section starting with [URL........ Ending with jpg.html]

I only keep the section starting with [IMG : ....... and ends with the .jpg[/IMG section

And remove the from the end.

Hello Mo,

When you are in your photobucket album and selecting photos, just right click on the IMG code box. If your photos are in 'thumbnail' format then the code will be located below each photo and will turn blue when you click on it, then just select 'copy' from the drop-down menu then come back to the Mdelspace posting box, right click in the box where you want to put the code and select 'paste'. If you are looking at your photobucket photos in the 'enlarged' format (one photo on the page), you need to just left click on the IMG code box (which is usually to the right of the photo) and it will turn yellow and say "copied", then just come back to the Modelspace posting box and right click and paste where you want it. That should be job done.

You also need to make sure that your photo sizes are set at either 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 (I use the latter) for uploading?

Hope that helps?

I've set my camera to take photos at 1024 x 768, this size works well for me.

You can set PB up to change the size of your photos as you upload.

Correct Ian. That is what I meant though I should have made it clear that I was referring to the upload size settings on Photobucket ready for loading to other sites. I wasn't referring to size settings on the camera or PC when uploading to Photobucket? Apologies for the lack of clarity.

A lot of people seem to struggle with Photobucket but I think it's fine once you understand how it works? On the downside, I have had some of my photos mysteriously disappear from my library without my consent or knowledge which was not very helpful!!
